The Laurencekirk Bonfire Night event will not be taking place this year. Laurencekirk Business Club, who restarted the event in 2013, say:
“It is with regret that Laurencekirk Business Club have to announce that they will not be able to run the Laurencekirk Fireworks display this year. The decision was taken this morning and is in part due to the challenging economic situation in the local area and North East, but that is among other factors. We hope to meet in Jan 2016 and set plans in place for a great event in Nov 2016. Apologies to everyone who has supported us in the past.”
