Full job description:

Title: Production Operative

Description:
To assist the Workshop Manager in the production of product and to assist with quality control processes.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Workshop Manager as required in the manufacture of personal care and toiletry products namely filling, labelling and packing of products

Participate in quality control as part of the ‘downstream’ quality control procedures

Contribute to Workplace safety – work organisation, tidiness in operations, safe working procedures
Assistance with warehouse duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills required / to be acquired:
Acquire knowledge of products and manufacturing processes

And

Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to undertake routine processes conscientiously

Good communication skills; e.g. in explaining problems in production routines

Ability to progress own work efficiently but also able to work as part of a small team

Adaptability and enthusiasm to learn and absorb new skills and knowledge, techniques and the operation of new equipment

Management:
Under the supervision of the Workshop Manager together with an Annual Performance Review.
