In case anyone was wondering, we are not planning a convoy around the village tomorrow night- after last weeks success we thought it was best to finish on a High. I know we will have disappointed some people and pleased others with this decision but I feel, at this time, it’s the right one. Maybe when we have something else to celebrate we could resurrect it again. Thank you again to everyone who joined in and for those who came out to watch. Stay safe, stay home!!! ❤️🌈 ... £36,000 Funding Pot for Kincardine and Mearns Communities Tackling COVID19

Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP) are thrilled to announce the launch of their Supporting Communities Fund for Kincardine and Mearns. They are making £36,000 available to community groups throughout the area who are currently responding to the COVID19 crisis.
On 18th March, the Scottish Government announced an investment of £350 million to support local communities and households in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. This funding has been established as part of this investment package to provide financial support targeted through community anchor organisations, working in partnership with others in the community and with public services, in co-ordinating local responses to the pandemic.
KDP are delighted to have secured £3,000 for each of the 12 Community Council areas across K&M.
The fund is launched today Wednesday 3rd June 2020 until mid-August or until all funds are allocated. Groups can apply for funds to help support COVID19 related activities.
For further information please contact KDP at officesupport@kdp.scot or visit www.kdp.scot for application form and guidelines.
