LBC chairperson Linda Farquharson has thanked Laurencekirk & District Rotary club for their kind donation towards the Bonfire Night fireworks display. This, along with ongoing fundraising efforts, and sponsorship from a number of local businesses, means that the club are now three-fifths of the way to their fundraising target.
The businesses so far putting their name to a firework, and who will be featured on a banner at the event, are:
EnviroSurveying Ltd, Charles Michies, Clarence Murray, Lindsay School of Dance, Bespoke Hair and Beauty, Broad Wealth Management, PASHLO Consultancy Ltd, Central Garage, Poppies Pre-School Nursery, SBC Consultants and Blaze Manufacturing Solutions.
The community Bonfire Night, which will feature a display from Fireworx Scotland, is to take place on 2nd November by the Healthcare centre. More details of the event and upcoming fundraising activities can be found on Facebook.
