Laurencekirk primary school will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 7th October, as a result of smoke damage after a small fire. The fire, which happened around 4pm today, broke out in the kitchen. Staff and cleaners were evacuated from the school, and thankfully no-one was hurt.
Parent interviews due to take place tomorrow have been postponed until after the holidays.
