Shaping Laurencekirk is a project aiming to find out how you would like Laurencekirk to be in the future.

It is a conversation about how the town should develop and will look at the old Academy site, the land beside it, and the town as a whole. The project team would like to involve Laurencekirk residents, local businesses, young people, schools, community groups, the public sector, charities, voluntary organisations and anyone else who is interested.

Two “Community Days” with a drop-in exhibition and timed workshops will take place to enable you to have your say and discuss ideas for the future of Laurencekirk. If you don’t want to participate in the timed workshops please feel free just to drop by and let us know your thoughts.

Community Day 1: Sunday 28 February 2016: 10am – 3.30pm
Community Day 2: Sunday 13 March 2016: 11am – 2.30pm

(full details about workshops on the website)

Let us know your views in advance: The team is keen to get an idea of local people’s views in advance of the Community Days with this short online survey, or use this as well if you can’t make it along: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GV8G5HC
